Sometimes all that stands between you and the ride of a lifetime is simply getting in the saddle and seeing what you're made of.
Come along for the ride.

I thought poking them with a spoon was bad!
By the way, it is not DEAD
I would really hate to be the one to try and rescue him. I am pretty sure this qualifies as one of the things that really pisses a badger off!
So do you shoot it, or cut the twine and run like hell??
Just insane. I find a dead field mouse every now and then. I even found what looked like a deer leg once. Of course, I'm so crazy that I throw away any hay that may have touched the dead animal.
I was trying to think how I WOULD get it out though and figured I'd back a truck up to the other side, cut the twine and then quickly climb to the top of the cab lmao.
We've found smashed snakes in some bales, but it's usually after the horses have already picked through it.
Ew... a deer leg. My big dog dragged in a deer skull and part of the spine last night. I wish he could tell me where he found it!
I don't know where it was. A friend sent it to me in an email. Since then, anOTHER friend pointed out that it looks like it leaked bodily fluids on the bale and is probably dead.
I know they are tough little suckers though! It wouldn't surprise me at all if it survived quite a while.

It wasn't my bale.
